I've been a member of this organization for almost three years and as a newly single adult I've discovered a few things:
1. Being a single "baby boomer" (born between 1946-1964) is not easy; to be single at an age when couples all around you are planning their "happy ever after" together is something no one expects. It does happen and the best way to cope is to get out and start enjoying the rest of your life!2. It's very easy to stay home alone. But it's not an option. I've met alot of people that are single just like me. Imagine what a lonely world this would be if we all stayed home alone. Do you really enjoy TV and laundry that much?3. We are mature adults, living alone but we still want to have fun. We still like to dance. This page is for those of us that like to dance. If you've never been to a singles dance you are missing a great time. Sure you don't go with a partner but neither does anyone else. The purpose is to socialize! It's a safe, relaxed atmosphere. Come on, try it once, you'll like it. The singles dances in the area will be posted on this page. All dances require proper attire (you really do want to look your best when you're out and about)
We don't have any dances in the works at the moment. Due to the winter weather and members down south for the winter we will resume our dances in the SPRING!
Our goal for our dances is to bring "suddenly single" people out to socialize. Even if you don't dance (men, I'm aiming this statement at YOU) it's a great place to meet and mix with new faces.

Valentine's Day Dance
A number of our members are going to this Valentine's Day Dance so we are providing the details. I'm told this dance does sell out so if you are interested please call ahead. Ladies, get out your red dresses (any color will do), men, buff up your dancing shoes and go have a great time.
